The Scientific Committee evaluates applications for samples submitted to the Quebec Leukemia Cell Bank. Quebec and Canadian researchers involved in research projects funded by a recognized organization and approved by their own institution’s ethics committee are entitled to submit an application form to the Scientific Committee.
The committee issues recommendations on the types of samples to be banked and the development of BCLQ activities.
Researchers receive samples in the form of a anonymized code. They are required to sign a material transfer agreement prior to receiving the specimens.
